From Slashdot: “Daniel Weitzner is Chairperson of the World Wide Web Consortium’s Patent Policy Working Group,the body that is deciding if it’s okay to charge “Reasonable and Non-Discriminatory” (RAND) license fees for use of W3C-endorsed standards that are covered by patents or other trade restrictions.
