What Happened to Open Source at Tunis?
Andy Updegrove writes "19,000 people - including hoards of journalists - spent a week in the Tunisian desert talking about bridging the Digital Divide between the First world and the Third world. How could they write nothing about open source at a summit meeting with a topic like that (they even missed Richard Stallman in his tin foil hat)? Here's what little they had to say, and a thought on what that tells us about the adequacy of the open source reporting infrastructure."
