JBoss founder Marc Fleury says he wants to use his $10 million in new venture capital to create a “for-profit umbrella” for a wide variety of Open Source tools — beyond J2EE JBoss. Fluery also says it’s time for a “second generation” for Open Source, adding that OS supporters need to step away from the “ponytail” image of the poor developer.
