When Targeting Early Adopters - Say No To Windows

Simply put, targeting the largest group brings the greatest return on your advertising investment. As far as software development is concerned, many people assume that Windows is that demographic because of its size, but this isn't always true.

Gary Lawrence Murphy submitted the following editorial to osOpinion/osViews, which suggests that Windows may be the right platform for conservative applications pre-installed on end-user machines, but for revolutionary services, nearly every other operating system will bring the greatest return on investment."
