MandrakeSoft has issued a statement explaining why it will not join UnitedLinux. In their statement they argue against what they see as a false idea; that Linux — like Unix in the 1980’s — is splintered and diverging. They also answer some questions on the issues of MandrakeSoft’s business model approach and achieving profitability.
