A search for UNIX system administration jobs on Dice.com will show you how unimportant UNIX certifications are. Certifications for Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, other UNIXes and UNIX in general exist, but recruiting agencies rarely ask for them, according to OS Opinion. –Kelly McNeill
