Chuck Talk writes “Well, it is officially announced now: Microsoft has announced their Windows One Care service that will offer antivirus service to their subscribers. Microsoft has danced around the antivirus briar patch for some time with the acquisition of several antivirus vendors and antivirus-enabling technologies. Up to now, that is all that they have done, dance around the subject. Windows One Care will change that fact, and perhaps not to the liking of the companies who will become immediate competitors in the antivirus space.”
