WinMX Shuts Down

Anonymous Reader writes “It looks like the WinMX file sharing network has ceased operations. Both the web site and the network are down. As WinMX is one of the companies sent C&D letter by the RIAA on last week it looks like they chose to close rather that go to court. There are rumors that the network is just going overseas to Vanuatu and will be up soon, but that is only speculation.”
