Mike L. writes “Xubuntu is based on the currently release of Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake and provides users of powerful and not so powerful systems a nice and quick desktop environment in XFCE 4.4 beta as well as XOrg 7.0. Xubuntu is quite stable and quick like a cat which might make people drop some eye-candy for better performance.”
