Apparently, mobile phones do cause some health hazards after all. BBC News reports that the wireless units can interfere with the operation of diagnostic machines in hospitals.

According to the Mozilla Roadmap it should have been done in the third quarter of last year, but.. nobody’s perfect. Now we hope that it will be worth to wait for it.

You can check what’s wrong with the current builds of mozilla. Seems like
lot’s of unused code lies down there.”

ZDNet reports: “Advanced Micro Devices plans to open a third
microprocessor fabrication facility by 2004, but will
likely share the space with another chipmaker to cut
costs.”

From LinuxDevices: “Delphi Automotive Systems has selected Red Hat’s eCos operating system to be the software platform for a
new family of in-vehicle information appliances and embedded telematics systems. The first Delphi product
to use eCos will be the Mobile Productivity Center (MPC), an in-car platform that enables hands-free
operation of PDAs and cell phones.”

At BSD Today: “The ISDN4BSD ISDN subsystem, which is also integrated into FreeBSD, has been brought into shape for
NetBSD and imported into NetBSD-current.”

ZDNet reports: “Sun Microsystems Inc. on Tuesday will release the latest
draft specification of the XML file format that will be
included in the next version of its StarOffice software
suite due out later this year.”
