eZ xmlrpc 1.0Beta1 is now released. This is an implementation of the XML-RPC spesification written in object oriented PHP. The release includes both the server and client code. Example code for implementing a server and a client is provided. The code can be downloaded from here. –BÃ¥rd Farstad

InfoWorld reports that Hewlett-Packard is testing a new technology dubbed “program in, chip out” (PICO) that aims to reduce the design time and power consumption of PDAs and similar devices.

CIO Magazine reports that a poll of 2,092 IT professionals by
Survey.com reveals that more than 68 percent of
companies have or intend to deploy at least one Linux
system. And according to IDC (a sister company to CIO’s
publisher, CXO Media), Linux was second in server
operating environment by shipments last year with 24
percent of the market.
