400 Linux Training Centers now listed at LinTraining

Lenoir City, TN: December 19th, 2000: Whitinger announces today that the Linux training resources directory (LinTraining) has crossed a new milestone – 400 training centers listed.

LinTraining, a member of the Linsight network, was launched on December 31st, 1999 with the mission to provide a single point of reference to all
+information pertaining to Linux training. In addition to training centers, LinTraining includes a listing of Courseware resources, Internet-based
+resources, independant instructors, and video resources. LinTraining is owned by Dave Whitinger and managed by Dan York and Dave Whitinger.

Linux training centers span the four corners of the globe, with Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belgium, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, China,
+Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Lebanon, Macau, Malawi, Malaysia, Mexico,
+Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden,
+Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Venezuela, and Yugoslavia represented.

LinTraining also categorizes training centers by whether or not a center has courseware for preparing students for the various Linux certification
+offerings.

As a member of the Linsight network, LinTraining benefits by being closely integrated with LinEvents, a global events calendar for the Linux community. Users may find events close to them with United States
+Zip-code searches, or by browsing the country listings.

Our friend from Poland, Lcamtuf
recently sent us some interesting info – “Vulnerable item has been identified as “Oracle WebDb” PL/SQL proxy (?),
which is apparently used as a part of Oracle Internet Application Server
(IAS) installations. IAS is the leading dynamic-content / database
connectivity engine in our small, commercial WWW world
” – looks like the Oracle WebDB simply let’s users to put their
own SQL statements. Somebody want’s to UPDATE www.oracle.com? 😉
