Update of LSB testing processes

been in setting up the test framework for integrating tests into. The
framework adopted is the Test Environment Toolkit, with the VSXgen
(generic VSX test framework) layered on top of that. As proof of concept
the first testsets, the LSB-VSX and LSB-FHS testsets have been integrated
into the framework.”

Codemesh porting JunC++ion to UNIX

Explaining Red Hat’s RedBoot

designed to replace the existing debug/boot tools CygMon and GDB stubs. It provides a

Norwegian group: Boycott Microsoft, use KDE

KDE Dot News reports that the group “Norsk MÃ¥lungdom, which works with promoting the
Norwegian (Nynorsk) language, asks Norwegian schools to boycott Microsoft
products and use KDE instead. MS Windows and Office only exist in the Norwegian
(Bokmål) language, but Norwegian law states that pupils have the right to books and
equipment in their own language.”

Interview with SuSE’s CTO

ISP World publishes an interview with Dirk Hohndel, the CTO of the “Red Hat of Europe.” He says: “SuSE Linux is known to be one of the richest and most complete
versions of Linux, so almost all the important packages are there. One
of the interesting new features is that SuSE Linux 7.0 can be installed
and used using Braille; it can therefore be used and managed by the
visually impaired.”
