VA Linux Systems increases worldwide server market share

VA Linux Systems has announced that the company has moved up in U.S.
and worldwide Linux server market share since Q4 1999, according to
International Data Corporation.

Based on Linux server statistics recently released by IDC’s Worldwide
Quarterly Server Tracker, Q2 2000 release, VA Linux now ranks second in
the US, ahead of Dell and IBM, and third worldwide in terms of factory
