This is a direct quote from a ComputerWorld story, really. “Microsoft Corp. is taking steps to make Windows a more secure operating environment.” You mean it wasn’t secure?

ZD’s LinuxDevices has a story about iomojo a startup “founded on the conviction that there is about to be an explosion of interest in media-centric sever appliances, in home, business, and embedded environments.” You’ll have to read the story to find out what that means, but the company founders are Linux fans.

The TuxBox (they have a site tuxbox.50megs.com and a irc channel @ irc.openprojects.net #tuxboxproject) seems to be more community-oriented, and it seems that most of the console will be developed by the community.”
