MS bug of the day: Closing images in Adobe Photoshop 6

Author: JT Smith

MSNBC.com tells us: “Now you see it, now you don’t. That’s what happens when an
image is closed in Adobe Photoshop 6 running on a
Windows-based system. When the image is closed, Windows
hangs, and the image vanishes if additional images are open in
Full Screen or Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar.”

Can I get an amen? “If you can’t use the future tense without babbling on about “going forward,” or you think
the “global leader” you work for makes “end-to-end solutions” based on “a scalable, robust,
object-oriented architecture that fully leverages XML (gag)” and not products, you may be fluent in
techno-speak.” From GlobeTechnology.com.

Linux audio plugins

“As users, we choose specific applications because their features suit our purposes. As we become more familiar with a program,
we want more features added to it, and of course we want it to run faster and smoother. Developers want to serve the needs of
end-users, but increasing the internal complexity of an application is not necessarily a good thing, and programmers and users alike
recognize the undesirability of feature creep and code bloat.” From O’Reilly’s OnLamp.com.
