Anti-piracy firm sues Microsoft for patent infringement

CNet reports that InterTrust, a company which provides technology to protect songs and videos from being pirated, is suing Microsoft for patent infringement in connection with its latest version of Media Player, which the smaller company claims uses techniques to close to its own.
