Embedded real-time Linux runs robotic nailing machine, same PC provides HMI

Think Linux can only do servers and desktop applications? Here's an industrial computing application where Linux not only controls the process in real
time, but provides the HMI as well.

Van Loon Control Systems. was contracted by Advanced Design Technology Int'l. to come up with a real-time OS to control a robotic machine. The machine
nails together engineered structural panels called shear wall panels.
