HP serves up Linux cluster

6
Hewlett-Packard (HP) has fleshed out its server ranges with six new offerings, including for the first time a Linux-clustered range.

In addition to new Itanium-based Integrity servers and adding to its Proliant range, HP has launched three high-density servers aimed at filling the
mid-range gap created when the Integrity range was launched earlier this year.

The HP Integrity RX4640 four-way, RX7620 eight-way and RX8620 16-way servers support either PA-Risc or Itanium.
