Monday, January 30, 2006: New Delhi: Brian Behlendorf, the man behind Apache, has been named the Young Global Leader. According to CollabNet, he is one of only 41 people in North America chosen by the Forum of Young Global Leaders to join this powerful international community tasked with making a positive impact on the global future. In addition to being designated a Young Global Leader, Behlendorf was invited to participate at the 2006 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting on 27 January in Davos, Switzerland. The Indian connection? Brian Behlendorf will be in India to attend LinuxAsia 2006.
