(Nasdaq: RHAT), the world’s premier open source and Linux provider, today announced that CEO Matthew Szulik has been named to the additional post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Red Hat, Inc. Szulik joined Red Hat as President in November of 1998 and was promoted to CEO in November of 1999. He has been instrumental in the success of Red Hat and the unprecedented growth in the adoption of open source computing.
